Repeat Prescriptions
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO ORDER YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS THROUGH OUR WEBSITE. PLEASE CONTACT RECEPTION WHO WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH ANOTHER WEBSITE PROVIDER AND A PASSWORD WHICH WILL ENABLE YOU TO ORDER THROUGH OUR CLINICAL SYSTEM.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING CHANGE TO REPEAT PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS
This will take effect from the 28th of February 2023
- As of 28th February 2023 we will no longer be taking routine repeat prescriptions over the phone.
- We have created an alternative route to request prescriptions in the form of a dedicated email address to replace phone calls
- We will remain flexible for housebound, disabled or elderly patients who cannot use a electronic or paper method of requesting routine repeat prescriptions
- Medications not listed on your repeat medication list can still be requested by phone and likely discussion with clinician in order to put onto routine repeat if appropriate
New Process for Routine Repeat Prescriptions
(Turn around time remains 2 working Days)
Preferred, easiest and quickest – Online electronic requesting through online access through the practice website. Speak to a receptionist to sign up for online prescriptions
New method to replace phone – Please email prescriptions.thebanks@nhs.net listing the medications you need off your repeat medication list
Traditional method – You can still tick the items on the right (white) side of your repeat prescription and deposit in the reception box or letterbox outside
